Configure Firefox to allow access to Webmin
Introduction
Firefox 3 blocks all ports except port 80 and 443 for viewing websites. To use webmin through firefox you will need to tell Firefox to open the extra ports for access.
1. Open the Firefox setup page.
It's quite well hidden away, In the url bar type: about:config This Should result in the "Here be dragons!" message. (click "I'll be careful, I promise.")
2. check and replace the open ports value
The tag required is: network.security.ports.banned.override The values should be comma separated, example: 10000,10001 If the tag "network.security.ports.banned.override" does not exist, you can right click and add it as a "new >> string" value.
